Beginning as the Shariah Division of PT Reasuransi Internasional Indonesia (ReINDO), now renamed PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Indonesia Re), from 2004 to 2016, ReINDO Syariah has marked a long history of remarkable achievements as a trusted retakaful company. With extensive experience and full support from shareholders, stakeholders, and regulators, ReINDO Syariah embarked on a spin-off as a Shariah reinsurance company focusing on life and general reinsurance.
PT Reasuransi Syariah Indonesia (ReINDO Syariah) was established on May 4, 2016, and officially commenced operations on June 1, 2016. The valuable support continuously flowing from all stakeholders, particularly employees and ceding companies, serves as the primary motivation for ReINDO Syariah to expand its portfolio and strengthen its business infrastructure. Aligned with the vision of becoming the leading, strongest, and most trusted Shariah reasuradur, ReINDO Syariah will continue to innovate and contribute to the advancement of the insurance industry and national economic development.
